Four years after its debut, ASIAN FOOD TRAVEL vol. 2 returns with a deeply personal journey. Across fourteen diverse locations—Seoul, Ao Nang, Yogyakarta, Kuala Lumpur, Penang, Ningbo, Hangzhou, Manila, Cebu, Taipei, Pingtung, Singapore, Dongguan, and Wenzhou—the artist documents solo and family travels through the lens of local food. Written in a raw, organic mix of English and Japanese, the collection captures how the simple act of eating bridges cultures, finding intimate resonance in everyday dishes.
The physical book is deliberately crafted to mirror a traveler’s pocket diary. Printed in a striking duotone risograph on tactile, lightweight 64g/m² paper, its elongated shape and staple-bound spine invite the reader to slow down.
