"The process of making woodcut prints is very time consuming, but its process fits my personality very well. It needs to be planned in advance, but there is still room for adjustment, and it followed by a sense of accomplishment after printing."
It is a one-year creation project that includes 365+1 woodcut prints and texts.
January to March are the beginning of the journey , April and May record the observations of myself after re-locating, June is a series of animation, July stays in black and white, August leads to a cosmic journey, September gets on the train, October deals with dual colors, and finally Connects November and December to draw comic stories.
XINs’ woodcut print collection book is a set of three volumes, gathers many hidden messages in every cut, and through the thick oil ink color, the past and the future are glued together.
