Kai Chan is a freelance illustrator from Hong Kong. BFA in Illustration from Camberwell College of Arts in London.  MFA at Otis College of Art and Design in Los Angeles. Kai enjoys creating zines, documenting, and telling stories about her current life. Trying to live in the present.

She specialises in using Chinese calligraphy brushes to ink her designs, creating movement and breathing life into her art. Her work centres on capturing moments - from the mundane to the fantastical, and telling a story through her images.

Now at this moment, she is interested in any therapy of a healing heart. In addition to her illustration work, Kai Chan is also interested in transferring her art onto ceramics and tufted rugs.
