Between 1999 and 2003 she studied Visual Communication at the Kassel Academy of Art, Germany. Mina then moved to the United Kingdom to continue studying illustration at the Edinburgh College of Art. She completed first her BA(Hons) in illustration in 2005 and then a Master of Design in 2006.

Mina’s commissioned work includes illustrations for books, posters, educational material, paper merchandise and album covers. She has recently illustrated the children’s activity book »Can I have a Kitten?«, which has been published in the UK in August 2016. Mina also produces her own limited edition screen prints, which are sold in various galleries as well as being used as illustrations.
