Jeannie, Wong Ho Ching

Jeannie Wong is a Hong Kong-based visual artist who graduated from the Royal College of Art with an MA in Print (2021) and Hong Kong Baptist University's Academy of Visual Arts (2017). She currently teaches as a part-time lecturer at HKBU and Hong Kong Open Printshop.

In her practice, Jeannie gathers fragments from daily experiences, weaving them into dreamlike landscapes that explore the anxiety of physical and psychological distances between places, past and future. Her work transforms these feelings into recurring motifs—transportation, portals, water, and animals—creating discontinuous narratives reminiscent of memory recall.

Working across printmaking, drawing, clay, and sound, Jeannie crafts spaces that hover between realities, evoking a gentle sense of suspense and quietness. Her exhibitions include solo shows "Fragments of Time" (2022) and "Rabbit Hole" (2019), alongside participation in international group exhibitions in Hong Kong, London, Japan, and Germany.
