RIDERS ON THE STONES
By Mélanie Corre
The art of the spontaneous.
In Riders on the stones, artist Mélanie Corre transforms the most mundane of office supplies into a canvas for immediate, unfiltered creativity.
This charming zine was born from a studio visit where the publisher discovered a wall of quick, intuitive sketches made entirely on Post-it notes. Bringing together 29 of those fleeting drawings of stones, the collection celebrates the raw energy of an artist's first thought rather than polished, overworked illustrations.
The physical object, published by Terry Bleu, perfectly matches the playful nature of its subject: risograph printed in a vibrant two-colour palette on beautifully textured Arena Natural Rough paper.
