Lingering Ripples | Chung Tai-fu

"After the age of 60, one’s personal colours and shapes should ‘retreat’ like water and ‘reflect’ the world’s beauty."
Produced during an intensive two-month Artist-in-Residence program at the Hong Kong Open Printshop, this limited-edition publication accompanies Chung Tai-fu’s 2019 solo exhibition. With nearly five decades of artistic practice, Chung approaches printmaking with the fluidity of water—creating works that are concise, textured, and deeply reflective. It is a beautiful testament to letting go of the ego, embracing the natural flow of creation, and proving that age is not a boundary in art.
